How can a christian know when he is filled with the Holy Spirit ?
1. by the promises of the Word of God .
2. by personal experience .
If you have faithfully yielded to the will of God and sincerely surrendered
Your way to Him in accordance with the steps outlined in this
presentation , if you have asked Him fill you – He has done it .
God`s Word promises us that we can know . therefore , on the basis of his
Word you can know that you are filled , if you have met the conditions
which are given in His Word .
How can a Christian continue to be filled with the Holy Spirit ?
1. Meditate on these glorious truths : Jesus Christ literally dwells
within you .
2. Make it a practice to spend definite time each day in prayer for God`s
guidance of your life and for the souls of men .
3. Spend time daily reading and studying the Word of God .
4. Do not grieve the Holy Soirit .
5. Do not quench the Holy Spirit .
Dr.J.Edwin orr describes theHoly Spirit as :
The Commander-in-chief of the Army of Christ . He is the Lord of the
harvest supreme in revival evangelism and missionary endeary endeavor .
Without His consent plans arebound to fail . it behooves us as Christians
to fit our tactical operations into the plan of His strategy which is the
reviving of the church and the evangelization of the world .
the first refrence to the Holy Spirit is made in Genesis 1:2
( In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth . and the earth
was without from and void ; and darkness was upon the face of the deep .
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water . )
